Moving House (UK) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Moving House) is not a legal practice and cannot give legal advice. Moving House works with several high quality conveyancing law firms to carry out your legal work but Moving House are not responsible for the actions of these legal practices. The legal contract will exist between you and the professional advisor. Moving House owes no liability whatsoever to the customer in relation to services the professional advisor will provide.

All legal practices ...

a. will be registered with the Law Society of England & Wales as being entitled to practise law within the jurisdiction of England & Wales.

b. will be specialists in Conveyancing, we will not allocate your work to a solicitors' firm with little/no experience of Conveyancing work.

c. will have at least £1 million pounds of Professional Liability Insurance ensuring peace of mind for our clients.

We comply in all respects with the Solicitors Introduction and Referral Code (1990) as amended by the Solicitors Practice (Payments For Referrals) Amendment Rules (2003).

This means that in accordance with this code we must advise you that all law firms on our panel agree to pay Moving House a referral fee. This fee will be between £110 -£310 plus vat. This cost is paid for by the law firm themselves and is not payable by you.

Reading of any amendments to these terms will indicate your acceptance of them. Your application to instruct a solicitor through the Moving House website indicates your acceptance of these terms of use.
